‘Drugalysers’. Bringing hi-flying drivers down to earth.
With a noticeable increase in the number of motorists DUI of drugs, a new roadside drug -detection kit has been introduced by many police forces.
DrugWipes use a mouth swab to instantly detect the smallest amount of cocaine or cannabis taken by the tested driver. Previously the police relied upon a ‘field impaired test’, which would then necessitate a trip to the nearest police station for a doctor to establish that the person is unfit to drive, time consuming and costly.
